Visa Pricing
Visa.com offers a variety of services, each with its own pricing structure.
For credit card processing, Visa uses interchange reimbursement fees as transfer fees between acquiring banks and issuing banks for each Visa card transaction. These fees are used to balance and grow the payment system for the benefit of all participants. Merchants do not pay interchange reimbursement fees—merchants negotiate and pay a “merchant discount” to their financial institution that is typically calculated as a percentage per transaction.
In addition, Visa offers a Price Protection Program for cardholders. This program helps cardholders get the best price on most products purchased with an eligible card. If, within 30 days of the date of purchase, the cardholder sees either a Printed Advertisement or Non-Auction Internet Advertisement for the same product (same model number and same model year) by the same manufacturer, in the Same Market, Visa will refund the difference up to the benefit amount per item (and per account per 12-month period). The price difference must be above USD 25 for this coverage to apply.
As for US Visa application fees, they depend on the type of visa for which you are applying. For instance, Immediate Relative or Family Preference Immigration Applications cost 325.00 USD in addition to the petition, and Employment-Based Immigration Applications cost 345.00 USD in addition to the petition.
